Richter Gedeon container office

The Richter Gedeon Chemical Factory Biotechnology Research Centre has decided to build a new three-storey office building out of containers to accommodate its growing workforce. The three floors of the building have been designed to be typically separate from each other.

The container office building is designed for long-term use, so the facade is designed to reflect this, despite the caracter of the container elements.

The staircase is located next to the main entrance, accentuated by a canopy. The floor plan has a double central corridor - we have chosen interior spaces for functions that do not require natural lighting (or ventilation) and are not intended for prolonged stays or visits.

The façade cladding of the building is built on an independent frame structure, the façade cladding consists of splayed panels. The most dominant elements of the façade are the windows, which are offset from each other at different levels, and are framed in white flat sheet metal, which highlights them from the dark grey façade.
