The company has been in the engineering business since 1989. Our work covers mainly the design of buildings and special structures, at all design and implementation phases, from feasibility studies to detailed construction plans, including technical inspection of construction.
The appearance and volume of the plant are essentially determined by the technological requirements. The location of the buildings on site follows the functional needs and meets the technological requirements.
On the site of MOL Danube Refinery (MOL Oil Refinery) in Ercsi an 800 MW gas turbine power plant is planned, which will use the available gas from the finery. Complete technological and structural design.
The power plant was built in 1912 on the Hernád River. Today the building is protected as an industrial heritage site. Our task was to carry out a heritage assessment and prepare a reconstruction plan. The old Ganz turbines are replaced by more efficient compact jet turbines. The installation of these turbines will cause minor modifications from a heritage point of view. As the new turbines can be installed underground., the ground floor can be used as an exhibition area for the original turbines of historical value.
The development of the district heting network requires the construction of a new biomass poewr plant. It uses the foresty biomass (mainly wood chips) from the region to produce heat and electricity. The plant will have a maximum capacity of 44 MW and will produce 12 MW of electricty and 24 MW of heat., which will account for significant part of the city's heat supply. The project includes the design of the new gatehouse, the main building, the wood chopping building and the dispenser building.
The power plant of a nominal 14 MW electrical output produces annually 100.000 MWh of so called green current and approximately 420.000 GJ renewable heat. Due to it's up-to-date technology the environmental impact is minimal. It's easily connectable ti the district heating network of Debrecen and other public utilities.
50 MW combined cycle power plant. Under the direction of technological designer Siemens, we carried out the entire architectural and multidisciplinary planning, from the permit design, through executive plans to the as-built documentation. Part of our task was the foundation of the gas turbine - generator - steam turbine machine units installed on one axis, which we solved by using springs.
In connection with the development of the power plant, we were commissioned to design a new control centre. The concept was to reconstruct and extend the old centre.
The investor CHP Power Plant Ltd. has entrusted GEA-EGI with the construction of a new gas-fired power plant on its own territory. In the first phase, the original design was revised for approval, later on the detailed construction plans were developed.
The investor Zuglótherm LTd. . has entrusted KRAFTSZTER Kft.with the construction of a new gas-fired power plant on its own territory. In the first phase, the original design was revised for approval, later on the detailed construction plans were developed.
The investor Tatabánya Power Plant Ltd. . has entrusted GEA-EGI .with the construction of a new gas-fired power plant on its own territory. In the first phase, the original design was revised for approval, later on the detailed construction plans were developed. The task included the complete architectural design with inner road layout and external utilities.
One of the most important industrial investment in 2002/2003 was the desulphurisation unit of the power plant. The design works included the control center, the pumping station, the compressor station, the lime powder unloading building and as well as the external utilities, including the 40 m lime powder silo.
